In the fall, Hobson’s Farm is the
ultimate destination for fall-themed, family-oriented fun! Home to
Parke County’s Original Corn Maze, we have been creating family fall
tradition since 2003. In the fall of 2007 the
MAiZE®
at Hobson’s Farm was dedicated in loving memory to William Timothy Flanigan (who lost his life in Afghanistan on July 2, 2006) and the
countless other men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice
protecting the freedoms of our beloved nation. An intricate
network of twists and turns in the shape of an Apache Helicopter with
the phrase "Land of the Free, Because of the Brave" was carved into
seven acres of corn creating a magnificent human labyrinth. Every
year, the
MAiZE®
has two distinct phases; the first phase has been designed for those
short on time, patience, or age (whatever the case may be), and the
second phase is a longer, more complex design to challenge the serious
adventure seekers. Although the correct pathway can be walked in
less than 30 minutes, maze-goers should expect to find themselves “lost”
for about an hour if they tackle the entire maze. Visit us in the fall
of 2008 to tackle our next corn maze creation.
Visitors can also enjoy the many other
attractions Hobson’s Farm has to offer. Check out the
Events page to see a list of the many fun activities we have to offer.
